Food waste continues to be high on the agenda in many countries. New research by the UN has highlighted that despite efforts, world hunger is on the rise with over 820 million people suffering from hunger every day.

The World Food Summit was opened by the Prime Minister of Denmark in Copenhagen. This is the second year of this well attended summit. ‘Better Food for More People’ brought CEOs, government officials, Michelin star chefs and civil society to try and solve some of our big global problems. One of the four themes is how to reduce food waste – I will share a link to the finalised comminique of the outcomes in a forthcoming newsletter. Read more...
