TLFP has grown from its humble beginnings to an organisation tackling some of the biggest issues of today; food poverty and environmental sustainability; at the same time, reducing cost for both industry and the government.
At the core of our existence is the belief that no one should ever be hungry. We support individuals regardless of age, disability, ethnic or religious group, and we do not tolerate any form of discrimination.
Our dedicated team of volunteers work closely with food distributors and suppliers to reduce the impact of food waste on the environment. With the cooperation and support of our partners, The Lost Food Project rescues tons and tons of surplus food each week and gives it to our charity partners and Malaysia's urban poor, who in turn use this food to provide nutritious meals for Malaysia’s most vulnerable people.
