The Lost Food Project Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers with management experience across a variety of industries as well as a passion for reducing food waste and eliminating hunger. Meet our team!

Shardul Phadnis

Shardul has taught hundreds of professionals, facilitated supply chain strategy formation in businesses and governments, and published a book and over two dozen articles in leading journals. He wants to leverage his knowledge of supply chains to help TLFP’s passionate staff, volunteers, and donors to collaboratively minimize food waste and eliminate hunger. Shardul (PhD in Engineering Systems, MIT) is an Associate Professor at the Asia School of Business.

Sarah Grasset

Sarah is a founding member of TLFP, with over twenty years of experience running her own photography business in Malaysia. She is committed to promoting sustainability and food rescue in the region. Sarah’s photographs have been showcased in newspapers and magazines, highlighting TLFP’s mission and its critical role in addressing food waste challenges.

Zalina Abdul Halim

Zalina has over 25 years in sales and marketing in the technology and oil & gas industries. Now retired from Microsoft, Zalina continues to bring her extensive skills and expertise to her role as Secretary of TLFP.

Maizan Manan

Maizan is a Certified Public Accountant with over 26 years of experience in finance & accounting mainly in the oil & gas industries. Her role as the Treasurer of the Lost Food Project is her way of using her experience as a leverage to give back and make a difference.

Geoff King

Geoff has over 35 years of international food retailing experience, most recently as CEO of The Food Purveyor in Malaysia. Geoff is keen on progressing migrating Malaysia consumers to more sustainable behaviours including reducing food waste. Geoff is currently a non-executive board member of Holland & Barrett.

Angelia Chin Sharpe

Angelia is a founding committee member of TLFP. Angelia is CEO of BNP Paribas Asset Management Singapore Ltd. and has over 20 years’ experience in banking, capital markets and asset management.

Selina Yeop Jr.

Selina Yeop is a seasoned PR practitioner with more than 25 years of experience and runs her own PR firm in Malaysia. Alongside her long standing career in PR, Selina has also pursued her passion for fashion, creating her own label. In addition, Selina has dedicated herself to raising her three boys and contributing to underserved communities, demonstrating a strong commitment to making a positive impact.

Johnny Fitzgerald

Johnny is a leading consultant in logistics supply chain in Asia who is happy to join TLFP to help in the course in reducing food waste and ensuring the food is used to support people in need. Johnny is the Managing Director of Logistics Solutions Integrators Sdn Bhd.

Secretary

Dr. Yatela Zainal Abidin

Yatela is the CEO of the Sime Darby Foundation; the corporate charity where she carried out philanthropy work for more than half of her career. Before this, she was an internal auditor at Sime Darby. From her accounting background, Yatela completed her doctoral degree on the subject of education for the underprivileged. Her interest in assisting the needy while taking climate action motivates her to lend her experience and skills to The Lost Food Project, towards achieving its noble objectives.

Dato' Tengku Marina Badlishah

Dato’ Tengku Marina is a communications professional with over 30 years of experience in a leading multinational corporation in the food, beverage and nutrition business. She is passionate about sustainable management and an advocate for ESG and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She serves on the boards of MISC Berhad, SP Setia Berhad and Westports Holdings Berhad, and as Council Member of the Climate Governance Malaysia and Founding Member of the Circular Economy Club Kuala Lumpur. She is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, LeadWomen and 30% Club Malaysia.

Nurashikhin Md Shariff

A mother of four young adults and a HR practitioner with over 27 years of experience. Shikin has a strong interest in developing talents and watching people grow. Being in TLFP provides her a new platform to support growth outside of her corporate comfort zone.
