Knowing that 800 million people in the world go hungry every day, many people have found ways to help The Lost Food Project continue our important work rescuing food, reducing food waste and helping fight hunger in Malaysia.
From art exhibitions, fundraising dinners and discos, climbing mountains, cinema events, and even giving up birthday presents, there are many ways you can fundraise for The Lost Food Project.
Raising funds for The Lost Food Project is simple and effective. For every RM20 raised, we can rescue enough food to provide 100 meals for those in need!
Are you planning to do something challenging? Do you have a birthday approaching? Do you and your friends or colleagues want to tackle a challenge together?
Many wonderfully clever, kind and generous people have found ways to support The Lost Food Project. How will you choose to help? Here are a few examples of how one person can make a difference to many.
School girl Summer and her friend Matilda spent most of 2018 raising funds for TLFP through bake sales, volunteering at sausage sizzles and single handedly raised over RM1100.
Thank you to Urban Myth, Apex Lounge @ Zouk and volunteers of The Lost Food Project who tirelessly organised a ‘Back in Time’ fundraiser this year and raised an amazing RM16,000 for TLFP. If you are a musician, comedian, actor or would like to partner us in a fundraising event, please get in touch info@thelostfoodproject.org

Our gratitude goes to the Latin Ladies Association of Malaysia for hosting a fundraising dinner in support of TLFP in March. Here are members of the Latin Ladies Association pictured with Suzanne Mooney, founder of TLFP, gratefully receiving a cheque for RM10,000

Our littlest food hero Lolo gave up her birthday presents on her 8th birthday and instead asked friends and family to donate bags of rice to help feed people in need. Thank you Lolo for this kind and creative way of fighting hunger.
