Appreciation for the CIMB Wholesale Banking Team

Today, we are saying a huge ‘Thank You’ to the CIMB Wholesale Banking team that has shown us what it truly means to give back.

The Lost Food Project hosted a group of amazing, hard working volunteers from CIMB, led by Lisha, who took time from their hectic schedules to lend a helping hand. Not just for one evening, but two weeks in a row, the team rolled up their sleeves to clean and sort our delivery from Pasar Borong KL, getting everything ready for pickups in the morning.

Their dedication to our cause was evident in the way they worked. They were efficient, thoughtful, and brought a wave of positive energy to the warehouse, with some great dance moves, which kept the energy high. Thanks to their commendable efforts, TLFP were able to feed a multitude of people in need, by preparing 4792 kg of food in the first evening alone!

We are truly grateful to the CIMB Wholesale Banking team for their contribution of their time to support us in ensuring our food delivery goes to those in need and does not end up in landfill. Their embodiment of corporate social responsibility is a powerful example for many other organisations. The CIMB Wholesale Banking team proved that corporations are not just about making profits, but also about making a difference in society.

Once again, a massive thank you from all at The Lost Food Project to Lisha and her team.
